I started this print a few weeks before my husband and I had our first baby. When starting, I thought of all of the mother figures in my life, especially my own mom, and how their role felt so divine. Guided, even. Then I became a mom, and this print gained another layer of meaning for me. As my hands finished this print I thought of how many times in the few short months of motherhood that I had already felt the guiding hand of our Savior. I felt him whisper promptings of things my baby needed from me, comfort me during the harder times, and celebrate every little win with me. The work of a mother is so important, and I know that our Savior is there with us every single step of the way.
